Welcome to Hutch Holidays. Opened in 2012 and now with many regular returning guests.

Booked the holiday, arranged car parking at the airport, got the sun tan lotion, summer clothes all ready to go, that’s it all arranged, lovely two weeks away from it all enjoying the sun, oops………. what about the beloved family pet ???? Ask a neighbour, get a friend to pop in ? No!!

Send your pet for a holiday at Hutch Holidays.

I know from years of experience with my own children’s pets and indeed my own pets how traumatic it can be to organise pet care.

My aim is to provide quality care for your pet, a home from home, I have looked after all sorts of pets during my children’s upbringing, we have had rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, bearded dragon, tree frogs, peacocks and chickens, various cats and dogs, we have even reared ducks from day old chicks to a ripe old age, I did refuse the requests for snakes and spiders though.

I am not a vet or an expert, but I have looked after lots of pets and will look after your pet as if it were my own.  I have even had to give physiotherapy to a cockerel with a sprained leg for three weeks but that’s another story.

I now have a large number of regular visitors, some visit several times a year, some just once a year, but I get to know them all, they all have their own little ways.

My hutches have been specially built to give lots of room for your pet, all are two foot tall and two foot wide, ranging in length from five to six foot.

My son went to uni, so his den has now become “Hutch House” brick built, insulated, predator proof, luxury accommodation for all your small pets.

Rabbits and Guinea pigs will be housed in my resident hutches, other small pets are welcome in their own cages.

I have runs in the garden for daytime play and exercise, all safe and secure, your pets will be put out to play during the day and will be returned to hutches well before dusk.

During their stay they will be fed with fresh hay and vegetables, I do ask that you bring along their normal dried food as to feed them on different food can upset them. It is also useful if you can let me know if there any fresh foods they do not like and indeed what are their favourites.

Please feel free to bring along your pets toys to make them feel more at home, and if they need to be groomed please bring along their brushes.

Have a look around the web site, if there is anything you want to ask that isn’t covered, or if you just want to have a chat about anything at all to do with your pets care, then don’t hesitate to give me a call, I know it can be daunting to leave your pet with a stranger, I will do everything I can to put you and your pet at ease during your holiday and their stay with me.
